What Good Rental Housing BI Looks Like

REBA releases white paper about what's wrong with rental housing business intelligence and what leaders can do about it.

Real Estate Business Analytics (REBA), a data analytics software company on a mission to change how the multifamily rental housing industry uses data, released a white paper entitled “What Good Rental Housing BI Looks Like,” describing what’s wrong with most BI today and the key elements to look for when evaluating a platform for rental housing businesses. 

The demand for good business intelligence solutions is growing exponentially and technology has rocketed the industry into an environment where it is often drowning in data yet struggling to get actionable insights. “This ‘data-rich, actionable data-poor’ paradigm is driven by an explosion in the number of real estate technology (RETech) solutions, each with its own set of data, some of which integrates well with other systems and some of which stays quite siloed,” stated Donald Davidoff, REBA Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder. 

The white paper examines the limitations of the rental housing BI choices available to industry leaders, the four critical success factors that all rental housing companies share which drive good data, and identifies three key criteria that make for a good BI platform:

  • Meets modern “table stakes”

The white paper was formally released at the National Multifamily Housing Council’s Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL.
